(1) The head of the station may accept other goods or items for transportation except those prohibited for transportation according to the prevailing law.
(2) After accepting the goods for transportation in accordance with sub-section (1), a railway receipt shall be issued in the format prescribed by the Board.
(3)- The following should also be mentioned in the railway receipt as per sub-section (2):-
(a) Sender's full name, surname, address and contact number,
(b) description of the goods, (c) weight of the goods and other information if the weight cannot be disclosed,
(d) number of packages and details of packing in case of goods less than wagon load,
(e) List of documents attached to prospectus,
(f) Name of station of destination,
(g) Recipient's full name, 8 surnames; address and contact number, and
(h) Other Necessary Matters.
(4) A single or separate Railway Receipt may be issued as per requirement for carriage of goods.
